Application:

The dried root of Angelica sinensis in the umbelliferae family, a perennial herb with a distinctive aroma throughout the plant. The taproot is short, thick and fleshy, and is divided into many thick and long branches below. Stems erect, purple. Perennial herb, 0.4-1 m tall. Stems erect, purplish, with visible vertical grooves, smooth without hair. The dry root is about 10-25 cm in length, 3-10 cm in length, grey-brown or brown in appearance, all with longitudinal wrinkles, slightly cylindrical in shape, and uneven in body, with 3-5 or more homing tails. Back to the tail thick under the fine, more twisted, and the surface has a small pimple like roots traces. The fragrance is strong, the taste is sweet and bitter. Generally, it must be cultivated for 3 years before it can be harvested, and the roots are dug up at the end of autumn. Origin of raw materials: Gansu, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Guizhou, Hubei and other places.
